The high fashion experimentalism of acclaimed menswear designer Martine Rose and the upscale, outdoors adventure aesthetic of Italian casual wear brand Napapijri come together under the Napa by Martine Rose banner. 

The latest collection from Napa by Martine Rose may, chronologically, be their Spring/Summer line, but that is the only concession Rose will make to calendar imposed limitations on form and function. Conceptually, these pieces are all about universal, year-round wearability, not tied to seasons or gender. 

The collection's visual motifs mine the 90s UK Garage dance scene. An escalation of the designer label coveting, 80s casual aesthetic, UK Garage style placed a heavy emphasis on confident ostentatious style, with particular attention paid to conspicuous, luxury label flaunting. Rose interprets this ongoing balance of high fashion and "low" subculture through exaggerated silhouettes, bold color and branding.
